West Virginia Northern Community College’s new Center for Industrial Technology was created by adaptively reusing the existing Wesco Building and integrating it into the College’s Downtown Wheeling Campus. This repurposing significantly expanded the size and capabilities of the College’s Welding and Petroleum Technology programs. Undertaken in coordination with the West Virginia Council for Community and Technical College Education, the project also enhances the campus’s presence in downtown Wheeling.
