The design of this addition and renovation project adaptively reuses the existing Valley Professional Center in Wheeling, transforming it into a state-of-the-art police headquarters and regional training center for law enforcement. Amenities include an attached multi-level parking structure with secure parking and a sallyport, a revitalized site, exterior building envelope improvements, and a complete redesign of the entrance featuring a bullet-resistant lobby and a double-height, glass-enclosed break area on the second floor. The interior has been fully reimagined to include a community room, training spaces, offices, conference rooms, evidence storage, and a fitness facility. The success of this project was realized through the combined efforts of M&G and MSA Design.
